I started painting, when I didn’t even understand the meaning of the word paint! I used to draw and paint when I didn’t how the person looking at my painting will react. But I used to spend hours with my colours and drawings and slowly I began to get serious on this creative front. Gradually I began to realise this is something more than just a hobby, it became my passion. My earlier paintings used to depict my daily life and the surroundings in which grew up just as we write a diary or a poem, I used to express my feelings and thoughts through my paintings. The beauty of nature and life as such was an inspiration for me to draw I do not spend much time on thinking on what subject to draw when I pick up my brushes and look at the canvas the painting unfolds itself on the canvas as if it was already there in my mind and my thoughts. But yeah, the world of fine arts is like an ocean – vast and deep- and I am just a little drop in it.
