    EMERGENT ART SPACE PRESENTS:

     
    We are happy to announce that the exhibition TRANSLATIONS - KOLKATA will open February 19 at the Tagore Centre, Indian Council for Cultral Relations.
    It will be inaugurated by celebrated Bengali artist Jogen Chowdhury.
    The TRANSLATIONS WORKSHOP IS NOW UNDER WAY
    Monday evening 13 students from Kolkata have started an artistic journey with the guidance of artist and professor Samindranath Majumdar.Sri Bratya Basu, Minister in charge of Tourism of West Bengal, inaugurated the workshop in a ceremony that included the lighting of candles and beautiful singing of two songs by Tagore.The Minister was asked to paint on a white canvas, which he did, to the amusement of all present.
