A walk over senses

In Walk over senses, she invites viewers to walk over and
consequently grind to dust a Kaleen or carpet made of clay images of five
sensory organs. By displaying a traditional wooden Kashmiri box filled with
casts taken from used bullets, and by offering the viewer a gift of bullet
print stamped with Amir Khusrau’s immortal couplet on Kashmir ‘if there is
paradise on earth somewhere, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here’. Arpita grapples
with the Kashmir issue, even as she re-evaluates loss on various levels.
