Transformation

My work is a reflection on global violence, which has deteriorated human ethics and changed our human features. We seem to have lost our humanity and to have given up on what God  made us. Violence has made us deformed from the inside, misshapen and not human anymore.

Reflecting on these issues, my work combines distorted anatomical parts

(bones and muscles) of the human body with other animals' body forms.

In addition, I insert machine parts in the paintings, pieces of hoses and bullets tapes of sub-machine guns.

The mixed media include fabric dyes, pastel, acrylic, water colours and charcoal .
