I am a biotechnologist by education, a homemaker by profession and an artist because of my sheer love of matrimony of Art and Science.
Right from the day I held a brush, I have been encouraged by the argument presented by famous British Politician and Novelist, Earl Edward George Bulwer-Lytton that:
“Art and science have their meeting point in method. This method is what I plan to explore in my creations.”
The idea is to create an interface between the fast blurring boundaries of art and science. The inspiration is complexity of biological processes that get curated by the ever improving technology and how it has seamlessly transformed the base elements that the Ultimate creator uses in creating us.
I believe in portraying processes as Protagonists that get enlivened and illuminated through the technological 'heart strings' forming quiet images of contemplation; but soon revealing an enigmatic picture. By extracting these processes from their original context, I intertwine with them elements of hybrid technology to recompose and suggest a new meaning.
