My work primarily deals with the parallel existence of everyday fears that are inherent in our waking lives as well as when we shut ourselves out and sleep. The curiosities of the world are in fact almost story-book-bizarre; however, our constant interaction with them makes them familiar and common, though perhaps not always acceptable.

Exploring various tangents to identity my work investigating issues of gender, ideology, sexuality, spirituality and the tendencies of violence in my society. With a recent dependence on media and the world wide web, have we moved from an outgoing social group interacting within our community to becoming more isolated despite the fact we can now communicate instantly with the
world?

Through my work I try to look at these affects using the recent surge in social networking, the growth in terrorism and the rise in advertising. What affect so they have on how we live today? Is too much information a good thing? Are we now losing contact with what is real and what is not?Through a play with image, text, material and space/environment, I attempt to communicate multiple layers of meaning. I'd rather pose more questions than provide answers and hopefully, in turn create a deeper dialogue.
