ā€˜THE HEART OF
STONE AND STEEL'

George Mubanga

Lusaka, Zambia

ā€˜THE HEART OF STONE AND STEEL' is a series of sculptures made from stone and
recycled scrap metal to express how life exists in a circle of nature, culture, and art.

We cannot separate culture from nature, nor can we isolate art from culture and nature.
These three must live together in order to give us life and healthy enjoyable environments.
